Minimum qualification, relaxation, and criteria
न्यूनतम योग्यता, छूट एवं शर्तें
Age Limit (As on 01 Jan 2026): आयु सीमा (Age Criteria as on 01 Jan 2026):
- Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 35 years.
- Age will be calculated as of 01 January 2026.
- Local residents of Chhattisgarh belonging to SC, ST, and OBC will get an age relaxation of 5 years as per rules.
- Female candidates will get a maximum age relaxation of 10 years under CG Civil Service rules.
- PwD candidates and Govt Servants will receive additional age relaxation as applicable.
- न्यूनतम आयु 21 वर्ष और अधिकतम आयु 35 वर्ष निर्धारित है।
- आयु की गणना 01 जनवरी 2026 की स्थिति में की जाएगी।
- छत्तीसगढ़ के स्थानीय निवासी SC, ST एवं OBC अभ्यर्थियों को नियमानुसार 5 वर्ष की आयु में छूट दी जाएगी।
- महिला अभ्यर्थियों को छत्तीसगढ़ सिविल सेवा नियमों के अनुसार अधिकतम 10 वर्ष की आयु में छूट प्रदान की जाएगी।
- दिव्यांगजन एवं शासकीय सेवकों को नियमानुसार अतिरिक्त आयु में छूट का प्रावधान है।
Educational Qualification: शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualification):
Specific subject-wise minimum percentage, degree/diploma, and other educational qualifications apply for the posts of Lecturer, Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Computer Teacher, PTI, Librarian, and Lab Assistant.
व्याख्याता, शिक्षक, सहायक शिक्षक, कम्प्यूटर शिक्षक, व्यायाम शिक्षक, ग्रंथपाल एवं प्रयोगशाला सहायक पदों के लिए विषयवार न्यूनतम प्रतिशत, आवश्यक डिग्री/डिप्लोमा तथा अन्य शैक्षणिक योग्यताओं की शर्तें लागू हैं।

Education from Class 6 to PG must be in English medium (exemption for Hindi/Sanskrit teachers).
कक्षा 6वीं से स्नातकोत्तर स्तर तक की पढ़ाई अंग्रेजी माध्यम से होना आवश्यक है (हिन्दी एवं संस्कृत शिक्षकों को छूट)।
CG-TET / CTET is compulsory for Teacher (Upper Primary) and Assistant Teacher (Primary) posts.
शिक्षक पद के लिए CG-TET / CTET (उच्च प्राथमिक) और सहायक शिक्षक पद के लिए प्राथमिक स्तर TET अनिवार्य है।
Currently working contractual teachers can only apply for a higher post, not for the same post.
